I'm in. Assume I'll buy one... and then another one because I forgot I bought the first one and I'm on my phone and doesn't it sound like just the thing I need?

Based on the (currently 100%) poll, I’m hoping your book project sees the light of day because I’d love to read about some of the tactics and techniques that you’ve tried (even if they worked until they didn’t) because mine are currently on shaky ground, and I’d love to know if there are some new ones to try.

Brilliant! I saw an app that puts a cartoon bear on your home screen- he growls at you if you pick your phone up- I didn’t get it cos honestly I think I would play with that bear a lot 😝

"Hiker bones" made me snort-giggle. Just a little. But otherwise spot on Bob!

Okay, but also.

ADHD: The Stanley tumbler of mental disorders. Because everyone seems to have it these days? It's actually been around forever but lately everyone seems to be talking about it like it's some new thing? And it keeps your water really cold? Maybe not that last part. Though I'm fairly sure I got both from family. I don't think ADHD was a Christmas gift, though.

The Stanley mug of mental disorders, and the Stanley Cup of mental disorders; big and shiny enough to hold all my big and shiny ideas *sigh*

Seriously, the term ADHD has become a catch-all for everything from "Sometimes I'm late to work because I secretly hate my job" to "My inability to plan & execute long-term projects is ruining my professional life that I am desperately trying to cultivate." I'm in the latter group, and looking forward to your book, as long as I get to see how Bear manages his struggles. I'm rooting for that guy!

I can find all kinds of things to do other than the creative work I should be doing so it is clear that I will need to buy this sure to be amazing book. And if it has Bear in it, I will probably have to tell all of my friends to buy it as well just because.

Was also diagnosed with ADHD during the pandemic and my brain pills help so much! 🙌

Whoo, I do feel an awful lot of this! I have never been diagnosed, but I do wonder. I'm crazy-organized--but that's the thing--I'm crazy-organized? I feel like I have to be--because I need all my weird systems, or I fall apart. Like, I check the time of upcoming appointments obsessively--if it's at 2 p.m., you can bet I'm checking in on how long I have all day long, every hour at least, and around lunchtime, I'm already feeling very anxious/putting my keys on the counter, quadruple-checking that I have printouts of any forms, etc. (I always try to get the first appointment of the day, if I can.) And I'm terrible about interrupting people when they talk (not JUST because I'm rude), but I have a lot of anxious energy, and my brain wants me to figure out what I'm going to say based on what they are saying and spit it out before I forget--because my thoughts race all the time and they will leave my head otherwise. I've been called "energetic" by everyone who has ever met me--not always as a compliment--yet I often feel burnt-out and am just working anyways (which sounds like a positive but is not--I can't relax). I guess what I'm saying is--regardless, time management is something I obsess over--at least, at the end of the day - ha ha -- sob! --so sign me up for your book, Bob!

Oh hell yes! Literally looked up from my brand new index card to-do list "system" (that won't work) to find this in my inbox. I'd buy the heck out of this book.

I will buy one! Or plan on it, then weeks later remember something about task management? Time maker-ment? I know Bob Shea made a post-- oh, look that pig drawing is funny-- TIME MANAGEMENT and ask about it, and hear you sold out. Then I'll just yell to myself, "what's wrong with me!? I knew I wanted one!"

This got out of hand.

Yes. I would try to buy one.

Please write this book! Also was diagnosed with ADHD during the pandemic. I am an educator. I have been in school since I was four. When the structure of education went away when we were all sent home, those supports for getting things done went away with it. (Plus, my mom dropped off a box of my report cards. The teachers' comments...:-/) I've made lots of improvements, and more strategies and approaches could be helpful.
