I absolutely love the shrinky dinks!! Your fan is the BEST! I also once had a very cute fan make a shrinky dink of my book character Chloe Zoe! But it was just one shrinky dink—not nearly as impressive as your vast collection! Cheers!

It’s like I always say: why egg tempera when you can shrimp tempura?!

Magic, indeed! To be honest, it's been a sh*t day, but this made it hugely better. I'm gonna go throw away my phone now and make tinctures. Credit score, be damned!

I’m sorry it’s been such a bad day. Maybe try eating pastries until you feel sick.

Okay, I didn't throw away my phone yet, so I'll quickly reply ... I don't have any pastries, but I do have chocolate. Maybe that will work? Stay tuned.

Ohmygoodness, those shrinky dinks! 😍

Also, I've learned anyone who wants to reset their definition of tortured artist can also go in the opposite direction, into "tiny, tiny art with even tinier details" (usually because one starts out on a too small piece of paper due to being a total cheapskate). Still, it allows one the same "let's burn this now/magic of art" bonfire moment, but also, (bonus!) cramped hands, strained eyes, and the ability to use one's tears to mix tiny, tiny amounts of watercolor paint.

Oh man, I wish I would have known you were in Milwaukee. I live in a suburb of it and would have loved the chance to hear your presentation. Great to hear you enjoyed your time there and your clearly went home with the coolest bar of soap😎
